We’re passionate about the accessibility and inclusivity of music and learning to create your own.
Meet Tiffany
What’s good!
Growing up, I wanted to be two things: Shania Twain and the President of the United States.
Over time, my political aspirations evolved into a passion for organizing and advocacy, but I was never quite brave enough to say, “I still want to make music.”
Then one day, sitting on the beach with Laura, I finally said it out loud.
I wanted to write songs. I wanted to sing them. (And she did too!)
And in naming that dream, I gave life to a part of myself that continues to breathe life back into me.
Making music has taught me how to be braver, how to be more silly, and how to be imperfect. It’s shown me how to process my experiences by giving them somewhere to live outside of me.
Now, my love for community-building and music have come together. My best friend Laura and I help small artists find their courage, their whimsy, their acceptance, and their authenticity, within a community of people who truly get it. Because we get it too.
Beyond music, I’m an opinionated go-getter who loves to hobby-hop. As you’re reading this, I’m probably planning a surf trip, ignoring three unfinished crochet projects, mapping out two new paintings, or heading to a sword fencing class.
And somewhere in between, I just voice-texted Laura a brand new song idea.
Meet Laura
Heeeyyyyy!!
As a longtime Swiftie, I’ve always dreamed of playing guitar. When I was younger, I took lessons for a few months, but I never stuck with it. I was too scared to mess up in front of people.
Then I saw The Eras Tour, and something clicked. I felt inspired to finally create my own music, which was something I’d always wanted to do. So, I got serious about my musical dreams.
Learning guitar, playing my favorite songs, and writing my own has given me more confidence and healed me in ways nothing else ever could — not therapy, not time, not even meds. And I want to help you feel that magic too. <3
When I’m not teaching or playing, you’ll probably find me at the beach with my friends and family, getting a maaaaddd sunburn (redheads unite!). Let’s be real, though, my guitar is probably right there with me. ;)
Why Inclusivity Matters to Us
We NEVER Gatekeep
Everything — big or small — begins with an idea. But after the idea, then where do you go? The music and art industry is FULL of gatekeepers and that is never what we want to do here. Every tool we have, we share with you so you can bring your scary ideas to life without having to do it all alone.
True Beginners To Truly Advanced
So many resources claim to be for beginners when really they expect you to come with some prior knowledge in piano, reading music, or singing scales. We knew that B4C was going to be the complete opposite. We created something TRULY for beginners and something to help experienced songwriters and artists advance, all at the same time.
We Don’t Have The Secret Formula
Surprise! AND we don’t believe anyone does! Songwriting is sooo subjective and we truly believe that in order to be a successful artist, all you have to do is be completely and utterly true to yourself. We’ll never tell you you’ll never make it doing what you’re doing. Let’s be honest, you wouldn’t thrive that way anyways.
